いつまでも大切にしたい遊び心がemöu.には隠れています。

From the simple motivation to create products that tickle your five senses, emöu was launched in the year 2011. This brand was named from a Japanese word ”笑もう”, meaning to smile. It is colorful, decorative, and with volume.
A sense of fun is hiden in emöu. that you want to cherish forever.

that the designer herself personally examined and chose.

顔みたいに見える「ö」は、アルファベットとトレマと呼ばれるダイアクリティカルマークを組み合わせた、 まるで何か話かけてくるような文字構成。emöu.のアイテムでたくさん笑顔になってほしい。 笑もう！と言葉にして、大切な人と笑顔な時間を過ごしてほしい。 そして、emöu.があなたを楽しませることが出来ますように・・・
そんなデザイナーの思いが、「ö」の文字に込められています。
The Logo of emöu. may appear a little unusual.
The “ö” that looks like a face, is a letter configuration combining an alphabetical letter and a diacritical mark called Torema, which is as if it is to chatter to you. I would love to make tons of smiles with the items of emöu.. I would love to make people spend time smiling with their precious ones, by putting into words “emöu. (let’s smile)”! May emöu. can entertain you with fun and smiles….
Such thoughts of the Designer’s have been put into the character of “ö” of the emöu. logo.
